Creative Sound Design aka: The Recordist is an audio production company which opened it's doors in 1986 with digital sound sample offerings for the E-mu SystemsT Emax Digital Sampling Keyboard. With the success of these libraries, the company expanded by offering digital sample CD-ROMs for the Emu Emulator IIIx, Emulator IV, synthesizer programming for Waldorf Electronics and Emu Systems, and custom sound effects design for video, film, radio and television. As time marched on, we noticed an increased demand for high quality sound design for multimedia and computer games. With sound design work on Starwaves' "Castle Infinity", "Eastwood' and "Sting: All This Time" and Cavedogs' "Total Annihilation" Creative Sound Design became a leader in interactive audio.
