BaseHead makes it easy to Add and Scan through 1000's of Audio files on your hard drive or network drive. Then Filter the Results/Audition and Transfer directly into your Target App like Nuendo or Copy to a Specified Directory. Either the Whole File or just a small section of the sound file can be spotted directly onto the timeline. Originally we made this program just for ourselves to use and speed up our work, but the BaseHead Project has grown beyond that thanks to the input of hundreds of users. FAQ: What if my HD crashes and I need a new code? We will gladly send you another code. You'll have 30 Days to get a new code so there will be no downtime. What if I want to move my BH Library to and from work? You have 2 options now. 1. BaseHead is Authorized by Challenge/Response of your hard drive ID so you can auth a Removable HD or USB Flash drive to take your auth with you. Make sure you Install BH on that same drive or copy the BH directory onto it. Run "Register BaseHead.exe" off that flash drive to generate the Challenge code for it. Tell us you are Authing a USB stick when you send in your code and we'll send you a Response code in a TXT file that you put on that USB stick with the serial number in it. As long as you run BH off of that stick then it should work on any system that has the Full Installer installed on it. 2. You can also purchase a BaseHead License to run off a Codemeter Dongle (CmStick) If you already have one, email us for instructions to add a BH license to it. If you don't have one you can order one from www.codemeter.com. Or if you are in the U.S. you can order one off our site here and we will ship it to you. Do you offer Network Floating Licenses so we can run multiple BH licenses off one dongle? We sure do. The Codemeter CmStick versions will allow you to do this. For example: you can buy 10 licenses and put it on one CmStick. Then at anytime up to 10 PC's can run BH on the network at one time. Go here to order a network license. Then follow the below steps. If you want a network license or run BH off a USB Flash drive or just want to be more portable please refer to the FAQ section above to learn more. Steps: 1. Launch "Register BaseHead.exe" from within the BaseHead Directory on the drive you want to Authorize and copy the Challenge Code. 3. Important!!! Then Email us the Challenge code to Support@sounddogs.com Be sure you email your Challenge code soon after you purchase BaseHead so we can unlock it for you!! Please allow 48 hours for your registration code to be emailed.
