Licensing The “Studio Cutz Collection” CD’s are licensed as a BUYOUT. This means you pay ONCE for the CD and use the themes as often as you like – forever. It’s that easy. Upon receipt of payment for each CD, MediaTone Music, Inc. will grant a lifetime license to synchronize and mechanically transfer any and all of the compositions contained on the CD. This license does NOT allow you to reproduce, copy, re-sell, share, transfer, or lease the music to any other individual or business entity. The music contained on all “Studio Cutz Collection” CD’s are the property of MediaTone Music, Inc., its applicable publishing companies and its writers. All musical material contained in the library is protected under the Copyright laws of the United States of America. Mass Marketed Media Products and Motion Pictures A special license must be issued for the synchronization of music with mass marketed media products or theatrical motion picture use. Special prices may apply. Use of Music in Broadcast Each Studio Cutz cd lists the applicable Performing Rights Society from which each song can be cleared for the broadcaster. If a song is to be used in a broadcast application, a list of the song titles, publishers, writers and applicable Performance Rights Society (either ASCAP or BMI) should be provided for the broadcaster. The broadcaster is then able to file accurate cue sheets with the Performance Rights Society. Please note that Performance fees/royalties are collected directly from broadcast stations and are not the responsibility of producers/editors etc.
