Francois Brosseau has been a musician for all of his life. In fact, he gave his first musical performance at the age of four. His early years were spent learning the violin, piano and guitar, and singing in the choir.
Immediately after graduating from Concordia University, Francois took his music onto the road and into the recording studio with Babelfish, a band out of the thriving Montreal music scene that toured all the way down to Mexico. They released three EP's and a full-length CD.
Soon Francois and the band were collaborating on film scores and soundtracks, notably for the feature Suburban Legend, which premiered at the Montreal International Film Festival.
Francois now makes his home in Toronto, where he composes soundtracks for films, television, industrials and serials. He is a member of the Guild of Canadian Film Composers (GCFC).
