Oleg Gurtovoy is a composer living and working in Moscow, Russia. His musical portfolio includes a variety of songs from the best-selling albums of Russian acts, music for popular movies, TV programs, festivals, corporate anthems and TV and radio advertising. One of the most important parts in Oleg’s musical career is instrumental works which represents a unique blend of Russian traditional melodicism and electronica.

Oleg’s music is very "logical" and some of it carries that Russian emotional feelings found in the music of the composers of that region. His roots certainly go far deeper than just "electro-pop" music.
Oleg’s sonic approach is very interesting, original and also very "clean". The changes and the construction of his pieces are logical, though sometimes it can be somewhat "unpredictable", which is very good, because it gives the listener a sense of "knowing" the music, and at the same time "surprise" the listener at some "corners".
